NAFNP was established to address chronic FNP underrepresentation in decisions related to FNP education and clinical practice at a national level.

A group of founding members routinely and tirelessly met to establish the mission, values, and direction of the organization.

Representation is essential and FNPs need to have a consistent voice and seat at the table for all decisions that impact our education, credentialing, and practice.

We will serve as a source of continuing education, mentoring, networking, and support for FNPs and the profession.
