Join us for From Head to Toe: Wilderness Medicine in Clinical Practice, a practical session designed to help clinicians recognize, prevent, and manage common wilderness and travel-related conditions.

Participants will gain evidence-based strategies for addressing altitude illness, traveler’s diarrhea, tick-borne illness, and friction blisters, while strengthening their ability to counsel patients before outdoor activities and travel.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize the clinical presentation and risk factors associated with altitude       illness, traveler’s diarrhea, tick borne illness, and friction blisters

2. Apply current evidence-based treatment and prevention guidelines for common   wilderness and travel-related conditions

3. Provide patient education and pre-travel counseling to reduce illness and injury   during outdoor activities and travel
